I guess it makes sense that I do a lot of exploring of the UK, since it’s where I’m from and where I live.
I’ve always felt that people don’t explore their home much. They’ll go halfway across the world to visit some historical, cultural, or scenic spot, yet not realise there could be something just as significant a short bus ride away. It’s always been my ambition therefore to visit every ‘county’ in the UK and find something notable there, just to prove that everywhere is interesting.
Here I talk about what I’ve found when I’ve been exploring the UK, including the lesser-known bits. I go from remote Scottish islands to the more obscure London boroughs. I talk about ancient ruins, sordid histories, and wonderful scenery. It’s a wonderful country, just ripe for exploring.
