Category: Deep Dives
The other parts of the website are mainly geographic or practical. In this section I go into deep dives about place, history, and culture.
This is where you’ll find my longer posts. Some of them are personal to me, and show my thoughts about certain aspects of travel. Other posts go into deep dives about a political aspect of somewhere – often to do with darker moments in history. There are also some posts here that defy categorisation, as they cover concepts that are incredibly wide or fundamental in scope.
You can read how I cope with the fear of failure, social anxiety, and losing control when I travel. I also talk candidly about how it feels to travel the way I do, with regards age and finances. You’ll also find here overviews on war, famine, pestilence, death, and beer.
