England is surprisingly an unknown quantity. I mean, sure there’s places at the top of every tourist’s radar. There’s well-known historical sites and well-visited towns, and of course everybody knows London. Or do they?
It’s a large country, with a very disparate feel. From industrial heartlands and historical heritage, to rolling hills & spectacular scenery. England’s also home to some surprisingly vibrant cities. Even the capital itself is full of lesser-visited boroughs with plenty to seek out.
England is more than just a couple of places found in every movie and book.
