Category: The Great Outdoors
I’m fond of being outdoors, and there’s a whole world of it out there. Even at home here in the UK there is some wonderful scenery. Some of it is easy to access, like Kinder Scout in the Peak District. Some of it is much more remote, like Ardnamurchan or parts of the Pennines. But across the country, there’s a series of hiking trails to follow, to fully explore the beauty.
This section of the website looks at all things Outdoorsy, including Parkruns, UK long-distance footpath guides, occasional wildlife encounters, and my experiences of travelling barefoot and feeling the world beneath my feet.
